Appeal summary

This is male wanted by Cambridgeshire Constabulary in connection with a number of fraudulent withdrawals from the victim’s account which resulted in over £8k being taken.

All the withdrawals took place in branches of Barclays Bank in Cambridge on 2nd March 2003 using a stolen cheque book and forged passport as identification. Eventually these documents were seized by the bank, but the offender fled before police arrived.

It transpires that Barclays have a fraud bulletin poster in their store with a picture of the offender on it. He is thought to be withdrawing high value amounts from banks in the Great Yarmouth area and in the past has phoned ahead to arrange the withdrawal but has been turned away due to looking younger than the real customer.
