A violent robber who attacked a man with a lump of wood in front of his pregnant girlfriend has been locked up. The victim and his pregnant girlfriend were in an internet café in Lincoln Road, Peterborough, at about 2.30pm on April 23 when they were approached by a man who asked him to come outside. When the victim refused, the man grabbed him and began dragging him out of the shop.
Mohammed Amin, 25, entered the shop holding a foot-long piece of wood and began hitting the victim. One of the men then ripped off the victim's neck chain, worth £250, and they ran off.
