Summer Drink Drive Campaign
Roads Policing Inspector, Chris Skepper, said: "As the weather warms up and the days get longer we traditionally see an increase in the number of people driving under the influence of alcohol.
"People tend to be out socialising and celebrating and may not think about how they are going to get home.
"It is simply not acceptable for people to risk the lives of others because they are having too much fun.
"We are urging drivers to organise their transport home before becoming impaired and making a bad decision.
"We will also be targetting drivers the morning after the night before as many people don't realise the length of time the effects of alcohol can last."
Last year (2010) 105 people were arrested during the summer campaign compared to 113 the previous year (2009).
Insp Skepper added: "We are committed to making the roads in Cambridgeshire safer and we will do all that we can to make sure anyone driving over the limit is caught and dealt with."
