Park Farm Village & Country Fete Summer 2011

Not all pets are warm blooded...

As part of our new total inclusion campaign to get all the residents of Park Farm, talking and looking out for each other, we are toying with the idea of holding a series of fun public events, the main one being considered is the Park Farm Village & Country Fayre.  Logistics and permissions will need to be obtained so we are looking at Summer 2011, i.e.next year

The ideal area would be around the Park Farm Pond and the access footway and grasslands back to Park Farm Way.  We are looking at arts and craft stalls, country craft displays, a stage perfomance and picnic area, Beer Tent, drama and gymnastic displays, Pet show, Car, Banger & Bike Competition, Live Radio and TV Coverage with a special studio set up for the day. Emergency Services demonstration and possibly an evening 'Last Night of the Proms' style concert.

These are just a few ideas but we won't know what is possible until you the residents let us know what mix of events and attractions you would like. So get thinking, you have until December this year to get your ideas in and we in the meantime have enough time to work out the planning aspect of the event and to see what is possible. If you have any special talents or access to the kind of equipment we would need, then feel free to get in touch.
