Neighbourhood Policing Team Panel Meeting APRIL 5TH 2011

Shards of glass from broken windows just yards from an infants school on Park Farm. After a short intensive campaign by PFNW. BUPA Properties the London based owners of the empty building hired contractors and cleaned up the area.
Neighbourhood Policing Team Panel Meeting

APRIL 5TH 2011

7pm Brewster Avenue Infants School, Woodston

ALL RESIDENTS & BUSINESS OWNERS WELCOME

Our PFNW view on these meetings is well known, they are VITAL but if Cllr. Burton gets his way, they will simply rate a half-hour slot at the early start of what he is calling an Area Meeting.

The idea is we also lose Neighbourhood Councils, under his 'bungled' idea, we use the term bungle as Cllr. Burton omitted to consult any organisation with the term Neighbourhood in its' title!

So this is your opportunity to show that we need time to consider the police presentation, debate and agree on neighbourhood police priorities for the next three months and to get a fully comprehensive review from your local neighbourhood policing team on activities that have taken place. Not possible within a timeframe of 30 minutes, at a time when most residents are still commuting on the train (those who are still lucky enough to be working that is!).

We are aware that some residents for whatever reason, do not wish to be involved in police matters so remember that the newly revived Cambridgeshire Crimestoppers Committee is now operating.

Telephone calls to the national 0800 555 111 number are an excellent way to call anonoymously with information about crime, domestic abuse/violence, something that might be going on in your street.

Crimestoppers is an independent charity. Your call will never be traced and they will not ask for your name. Rewards for information on serious incidents, resuting in a conviction, are also offered, ask for details.
