On Your Bike!!


A CHARITY cycle challenge in aid of child victims of crime will benefit to the tune of £2,000 thanks to Cambridgeshire police.


Four cyclists are currently pedalling their way through a relay between every police HQ in England and Wales -covering a staggering 1,800 miles in seven days to raise funds for Child Victims of Crime (CVOC).

They will be stopping off at Cambridgeshire's HQ, in Hinchingbrooke, to collect a cheque from Assistant Chief Constable Mark Hopkins..

The money comes from the Police Property Act Fund which is made up by property that is seized from criminals then sold.

Mr Hopkins said: "CVOC is a really worthwhile charity which supports children who have been affected by crime.

"We're delighted to be supporting the charity and the four riders taking part in this big challenge."
