BROADWAY THEATRE Peterborough CLOSES DOWN ... AGAIN..

This young man Paul Coxwell  ( previously convicted of VAT fraud) or if you prefer
Paul Parker NOT paying out...and 'has left the firm'

We heard that all was not well with the Broadway Theatre, Peterborough a couple of weeks ago when a major theatrical company telephoned us to say that incoming theatrical production companies had not been fully paid by the current Broadway Theatre Management Company who had taken a lease on the building and contents (ie not the same limited company as the owner of the building prop: Rinaldo Fasulo). We did make discreet enquiries, as the new Vivacity operation seemed to be getting closer to the current Broadway management...

This is of course is very long term bad news for all Peterborough Theatres, as once a destination town is effectively blacklisted by Equity etc., few if any theatrical companies will take a financial risk on putting shows into Peterborough.

There is one small ray of hope and that is if the current owners (ie a firm controlled by Mr Rinaldo Fasulo - now the subject of a couple of clousures at the Broadway and facing renewed claims for ticket refunds - although he will again deny any responsibility for the failed management firm, he nonetheless approved the lease), can rapidly agree terms and hand the Broadway Theatre over lock, stock and barrel to the City Council ( where another related Fasulo is consort to Mr. Mayor! City Hall Possible contact for ticket refunds???) for the same money  (allegedly not much more than a peppercorn) as orginally paid out as a distress sale, to the liquidators of Peter Boizots failed Mistvalley firm.

We can get an emergency crew back in and maintain the production schedule for the good of the City. The new management would have to ring fence all cash takings putting them into a protected client account and only accessing the percentage for the running of the theatre. It is easy enough to do, just requires an efficient administration  and daily banking!

Tickets refunds are another matter unless over £100 has been paid using a credit card then a claim against the credit card company will get your money back....
