Police Alert

Police Alert

I have been contacted by Yellow Pages to confirm that as at 2nd July they will be distributing the new Yellow Pages to all our post codes. This delivery will take between 2-3 weeks

Just be aware that if your neighbours are on holiday you may need to move it out of sight till they return.

Secondly the Police control room have been contacted and informed that the following person will be canvassing door to door for the East Anglia Air Ambulance Lottery in post codes PE1 to PE7 over the next week - the person collecting in the Peterborough area is a Mr Rob Malcolmson and he will have a photo ID card with him. He should not call in No Cold Call areas so if he does please report to Consumer Direct - he will be dressed in hi vis jacket with Air Ambulance displayed or Navy Blue Fleeces displaying Air Ambulance on the front left breast or Navy Blue polo shirts with Air Ambulance displayed both front and back

Finally we have had reports of males knocking on doors very late at night in the Dogsthorpe area - Larch Grove and rural areas - Maxey - in one incident they asked the elderly resident for the time and on another occasion male was asking for lift to Spalding. Both incidents were reported to the police but best advice is not to engage with anyone at your door late at night if you are not expecting anyone - if they are persistent tell them you are ringing the police and report it on 0845 456 4564
