The newly formed limited liability rogue theatre operating company who leased the Broadway Theatre, Stage Live suddenly up sticks and vanished, leaving a mountain of debt and broken hearted theatregoers by the busload. Join Julian Bray on BBC Cambridgeshire on Wednesday morning as we gingerly try and pick our way through the bones of this all too real Brothers Grimm fairy tale and see if anything at all can be salvaged as we believe it still can be but it will need more than a magic wand, a packet of beans, a genie and a beanstalk.... not even the Hoff has an answer....
News reaches us tonight that this all has another amazing twist, the owners want to sell the theatre building, we think at a great profit, they say at a great loss... But just how much did the current owner Rhinaldo Fasulo actually pay for the theatre? Which we understand was at the time a financial distress sale and Mr Fasulo allegedly bagged the theatre for less than £1 million, following the financial collapse of the highly debt geared Mistvalley Limited, (Peter Boizots own operating company controlling Gastions Pizza, The Broadway, Miss Pears and The Great Northern Hotel) We'll finish this story after the broadcast ....from 7am Wednesday...
