Morrisons Stanground opens Monday 3rd Oct ~ 9am

The new store opening hours are:-
Shop Mon - Sat 8am - 10pm
Sun 10am - 4pm

Petrol Mon - Sat 7am - 11pm
Sun 8am - 9pm

Cafe Mon- Sat 8am - 9pm
Sun 9.30 - 4pm

Although named Morrisons Stanground, the new supermarket is located at the isloated CARDEA development. Be advised there is NO PAVEMENT or FOOTPATH currently in place and access by foot from Stanground can only be achieved by walking alongside the bypass (essentially walking along the storm drain recess ).

If you do not have transport, you are strongly advised to use the bus. Only yesterday we witnessed several Mums with buggies and children walking along the bypass. If you have no alternative, at least please ensure that you walk facing the oncoming traffic and not with your back to the oncoming stream of vehicles. But our advice is USE THE BUS!

Pedestrian walking along the storm drain at the side of the Cardea by-pass,
the storm drain is not a pavement and dips into a centre drainage channel.
There is no other way by foot to reach Cardea, the home to Morrisons and a new pub named The Apple Cart .
