Heart Heroes Award accepted on behalf of Park Farm Neighbourhood Watch by Chairman Julian Bray. Well done, you are all official Heart Heroes! Photo: Morag Irving http://tinyurl.com/STANGROUNDPFNW We've been reminded by several members that in view of the misinformation in a political party handout over the 'heart ripping' 20 mph blanket speed limit proposal, that it is not a done deal, but is still going through the essential public consultation stage and anyone can still object in writing by e-mail or by letter before September 27th (see template in earlier posting) ; we should remind everyone the Heart Heroes Award was awarded to Park Farm and Park Farm Neighbourhood Watch and not to an individual, it's time we dusted it down. Take a well deserved bow Park Farm, we are all Heart Heroes now! Stop Press! We hear that Heart is to close down the studio in Peterborough and move operations and staff to new premises in Histon, Cambridgshire. Clearly a blow for the City of Peterborough, when a small incentive for the radio station to stay in the City would have worked wonders. We hear that the radio staff were uneasy about working in the City cente in the evening as they were being subjected to bouts of anti social behaviour at the end of their late shifts. |
