Going, Going...finally gone...

Jill Jackson, Interim Housing Manager, Accent Nene Ltd responds:   Having investigated the position it is as follows:-  The non offensive graffiti was originally reported to us on 19 April. On 26 April our contractors attended and attempted to remove it, however due to the nature of the graffiti they were unable to remove in full. On 5 May they attended again with different equipment and again attempted to remove but without success. We have specialist contractors attending again tomorrow (10 May) and we are hopeful that the graffiti will finally be removed then.
Our normal turnaround for non offensive graffiti is 7 days. We apologise that this has taken longer than our normal response time but hopefully you will understand that this is not for the lack of trying.

· With regard to the flytipping which was reported on 6 May, the rubbish in question is not on land belonging to Accent Nene. However, as a gesture of goodwill our contractor will be removing the rubbish tomorrow (10 May).
Hopefully this action is acceptable but please do not hesitate to contact me or Neil Cox, our Technical Service Manager, as we are now both overseeing the matter.
